Offer Your Seva

In ancient Vedic tradition, it was a spiritual Dharma to offer our Seva to places of worship and places of learning like temples, dhams, Ashrams, Vidyalaya & Gurukkuls. We are grateful for any Seva from our students offered selflessly with Bhakti (Devotion) & love. Shivalaya Divyam Vidyalaya is a small establishment. We do our best to be self-sufficient by generating income from our offerings. But not all our works generate income.

• We produce free online spiritual educational contents like Upadesa Series
• We offer financial grant for our spiritual classes to serious students who are financially underprivileged
• We offer free spiritual therapy sessions for mental health patients who are financially underprivileged
• We support animal welfare organizations through donations
• We support temples through donations & Seva
• We organize free educational events & Pujas for the wellbeing of our students

According to Agni Purana : Chapter 38, Agni Deva says in Shloka 1 – 34 and Yama Deva says in Shloka 35 – 49 that those desirous of constructing a temple or help with temple construction;

• Go to the world of Devata & Gods
• Conveys 1 lakh of his past & future ancestors to the world of Gods
• Obtain benefit that could not be obtained from Yajna
• Benefit of bathing in Holy Waters
• Shall not be brought to hell
• Relieved from the suffering in Hell

Seva to the Deities

Mahakaal hall is the entrance hall housing Sri Sri Bholenath, Sri Sri Kashi Vishweshwari, Kal Bhairav & other deities at the Altar. This hall is the Garbhgriha of the deities. It has been given as a Samarpana to the deities. It is also the protective space of Shivalaya Divyam Vidyalaya. Only seekers permitted by the deities will be allowed to walk into the space. You have to have pure intention & genuine seeking to enter this space. It is the space you purify yourself before you start your seeking. It is the space you make your offering to the deities. It is the space you surrender to the deities through Bakthi.

Shiva Mandapa
(Shiva Hall)

Shiva Hall is the larger hall for larger group. It can comfortably accommodate 50 to 70 students for satsang or upadesa. It can also accommodate 15 to 20 Yoga mats for holistic health classes. The hall is designed with more ugra or fiery energy of Lord Shiva & Dasamahavidya for learning, seeking, & discipline. There will be a sense of motivation, & vairagya for sadhana as soon as one enters the hall.

Shastra Corner
(Scriptures Corner)

Shastra corner is a book corner with all the important scriptures of Sanathana Dharma and other spiritual books for learning. The books are available for long term students to read at Shivalaya Divyam. Borrowing is not permitted.
